Casa Bikini debuts their Designer Swimsuits for this Summer at Havana Nine's Mojito Bar

In case you don't live in the M.I.A....we're officially in summer mode! Everyone knows Miami never experiences a real change in temperature. Our beaches are warm and our skies are clear every weekend! That's why swimsuits are invading our shopping centers and our local boutiques. Last Sunday I attended a sexy bikini fashion show presented by Casa Bikini at Havana Nine's Mojito Bar located inside Bayside Marketplace. Casa Bikini showcased their latest designer swimsuits right after the Miami Heat game which attracted a large crowd of fans! Get ready to see bikinis, mojitos [courtesy of Mojito Bar] and fun accessories [fedoras provided by Havana Nines and bracelets by Endless C Reations]. For more information on Casa Bikini, you can find them on Facebook and Twitter aside from their website. Andrea Amorosi, Founder of Casa Bikini, continuously announces upcoming trunk shows and fashion shows so stay connected to this talented entrepreneur. Enjoy the photos and I hope it inspires you to start shopping for that perfect summer bikini!

Donate to Support Haiti Rescue Efforts

As January continues to bring weird weather, I'd like to share an awareness campaign that aims to help those who have been affected by the earthquakes in Haiti. "Save Haiti Saturday" benefits Project Medishare for Haiti, Inc., a nonprofit organization founded in 1995 by Drs. Barth Green and Arthur Fournier from the University of Miami School of Medicine. Several business, teams and individuals from the entertainment and sports industry have lent their names to this national effort, including the Miami Heat, Alonzo Mourning, Alex Rodriguez, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Ryan Seacrest and Lenny Kravitz. “Save Haiti Saturday” allows organizations to contribute part of their revenues toward Haiti initiatives. Individuals may also donate by following the instructions on the campaign's website. It's time to take action and make a difference in the world. The money raised will support the teams of doctors, nurses and rescue workers who are working around the clock, performing surgeries and taking care of the sick and wounded during this devastating time in Haiti. If you haven't donated anything, it is never too late! For more information about this campaign or to donate online: http://savehaitisaturday.com/.

A Night at the Studio with Omar Vega!

Last week, one of Miami's most notable photographers, Omar Vega, hosted his very own welcome party for Art Basel. On December 2nd, local entrepreneurs and artists joined Mr. Vega at his Midtown Studio to celebrate creativity. The event brought artistry and fashion together by featuring the work of artists along with a bikini and a lingerie show. Models strutted through the party wearing lingerie by Shirley Pear and bikinis by Casa Bikini. Every guest enjoyed their glimpse into Art Basel's flare and sexy atmosphere. For information about Omar Vega, the official team photographer for The Miami Heat, visit his website at http://thevegavision.com/.
