Emma Stone as Mary Jane Watson seems like a great idea on paper. Stone will star in the new Spider Man movie as one of the integral characters to the story, and the young actress is about to make her crossover into the blockbuster film territory. Several of her films have already found success at the box office, but getting a lead role in one of the biggest comic book franchises out there is a completely different ball of wax. Stone will be taking over the role played by Kirsten Dunst in the three latest Spider Man films from Sam Raimi. Sony is rebooting the entire franchise, so we will again find out how Peter Parker becomes Spider Man in the summer of 2012.
There is certainly a lot of work left to be done on a major film like this, especially with a release date of July 3, 2012, already in theater schedules. Earlier it was announced . She really made her first impact in Superbad, and then appeared in Zombieland as one of the main characters before starring in Easy A this current summer season.
