Swim Week is about to take over our city and why not celebrate summer with a hot line-up of swimwear designers? MOD Media is proud to announce that MOD Swim Week is back for its second year and ready to make a splash hit on the runways of Miami Beach! MOD SWIM is a weekend event sponsored by Designer Skin Tanning Products during Miami Swim Week, consisting of gifting suites, fashion shows with top designers and high-profile after parties. Taking place at the ever so glamorous Sagamore, The Art Hotel, MOD Swim will take over the Rooftop Penthouse hosting a VIP gifting lounge (invitation only, rsvp a must) as well as an array of swim shows on the outside terrace. Guests and fashionistas alike will get a chance to view the hottest swimsuit trends for the summer. The weekend will kick off with a Betsey Johnson [Dadeland Boutique] Summer fashion show produced by Wasabi Fashion Kult on Friday, July 15th, 2011 at 7:00pm. Strutting the runways on Saturday is the premiere swim collection by Mariana London at 7:00pm, and closing out MOD Swim Week will be a show stopping experience by WE ARE HANDSOME at 7:00pm. RSVP is mandatory for these shows so make sure you email info@modmediamiami.com to confirm your attendance. Sazoneros! You may have noticed that I took a little hiatus from my blog but I'm back with plenty of exciting festivities to share. Oh, don't think I forgot about my fashionistas. This week, there's a whole lot of fabulosity in the air as Funkshion brings hip fashion designers [like Richie Rich] to Miami. After you're done soaking in Funkshion, mark your calendar for this one: on Saturday, April 2nd, swing by Miami's Grand Central to watch the "Betsy Sailor: A Betsy Johnson Fashion Show" featuring sounds by Mike Deuce and Josh Lecash.
