It's getting closer and closer to my favorite holidays- Thanksgiving and Christmas! That means there will be plenty of shopping events in the next couple of weeks. This past Saturday, renowned designers and leaders in the footwear and accessories industry, Donald J Pliner and wife Lisa Pliner showcased their Fall Footwear Collection at Village of Merrick Park to benefit the Children’s Home Society of Florida. Continuing to impress men and women with their innovative designs, high style and unprecedented comfort, Donald and Lisa provided shoppers with the latest trends while giving back to the Florida community. During the event, guests enjoyed Hor D'hoeuvres from Prime Italian. Best of all: 10% of the proceeds benefited the Children's Home Society of Florida, a charity that empowers families to safely care for children and provide for youth throughout the state.
